Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner - Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently - Enter orders into the POS system and ensure accuracy - Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely manner - Provide excellent customer service and address any guest concerns or inquiries - Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area - Follow food safety guidelines and ensure proper handling of food - Handle cash transactions and process payments accurately Skills:
- Strong knowledge of OpenTable or similar reservation systems - Basic math skills for calculating bills, making change, and splitting checks - Excellent guest service skills, including the ability to anticipate needs and provide personalized recommendations - Familiarity with restaurant operations and procedures - Willingness to assist other team members as needed - Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations - Ability to handle food preparation tasks, such as assembling salads or desserts Please note that previous experience as a server is preferred but not required.
We are willing to train candidates who demonstrate the right attitude and willingness to learn.
