As a Network Specialist you will ensure the development and delivery of high-quality products and deliverables to clientsPerform Daily functions of network monitoring and troubleshooting of network related issuesHOW A NETWORK SPECIALIST WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
o Review existing and proposed network architectures to ensure fit for purpose for DLAo Provides ongoing support for the functionality and efficiency of computer networks (LAN/WAN).
o Designs, installs, maintains and coordinates the use of network systems.
o Monitors and manages data traffic/network performance and controls network resource performance to ensure high-quality transmission.
o Troubleshoots and resolves problems to ensure quality transmission service on the networkEnforces security policies.
o Configure network equipment such as routers, switches, firewallso Define VLANs across the OT network to maximize security and performanceo Prepare for and conduct activities in compliance with Federal Guidelineso Create complete, reliable, and trustworthy information on the network and associated equipment, including network drawingso Identify network weaknesses and deficiencies.
o Identifying and documenting hardware and software version, including firmware versionso Write programs according to specifications, which may be provided by Engineers, technical architects, or other computer scientistso Update, repair, modify and expand existing computer programs Level 1 performs more routine aspects of position and is supervised by higher levelsWHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED - REQUIRED:

Security Clearance LevelEDUCATION:
BA/BS (or equivalent experience)YEAR'S EXPERIENCE Must be able to demonstrate a minimum of 2 years of network design, configuring and implementation expertise.
