USIT is preparing an RFP (Request for Proposal) for the DoD.

Length of Contract is 3 years (1 Year Base with 2 Option years)

Skills:

Oracle version - 12C

UNIX Oracle Solaris 10/Red Hat EnterpriseLINUX 6 (RHEL6) (or higher) operating system environments.

Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC)

Minimum Experience

Experience in positions supporting 24x7 operational environments.

6+ years of experience with BS degree in IT or other related fields.

Some experience in senior level DBA positions responsible for planning and implementing Oracle Database11gR2 (or higher) and/or Application Server implementations to include highly available and failover configurations.

DBA must have demonstrated experience in planning and implementing medium to large-sized technology projects in support of business initiatives.

Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC)

Strong knowledge and command of UNIX Oracle Solaris 10/Red Hat EnterpriseLINUX 6 (RHEL6) (or higher) operating system environments.

Experienced in initiating, planning, executing, controlling, and delivery of projects. OCP certification (or higher) in Oracle version 11gR2 (or higher) and Security+ CE (or higher) certification is required for placement.

Proposed personnel shall be a Senior DBA team member with emphasis on implementing, planning,execution and delivery of many major projects involving very complex Oracle databases in support of critical and non-critical applications.

Must be able to meet strict performance standards and timelines.

As a Senior DBA, this person is responsible for all tasking assigned by the Project Manager/Technical Lead DBA to ensure the quality of the work performed and the completion of the work on time.

This work includes implementing and maintaining Oracle Database Applications in a development, test, stage, functional, and production environments.

Keeps database versions up to developed standards and to correct any known security vulnerabilities. This includes completion of all DLA CERTtasking s by the due date.

Responsible for closing all Remedy ITSM tickets assigned by the Project Manager/Technical Lead.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
